I entered this train photograph in a photography contest on the About.com Photography forum and I was very surprised to find out today, October 31, 2007, that I won the contest.
As a photographer I enjoy entering photography contests. I enjoy competing with some very talented photographer’s. There is no money in the contests that I enter only recognition. Beating everyone else that I compete with is a great reward for me. I have entered about 20 to 30 contests, and so far I have had two photographs that won first place and one of my entries won third place.
